Ming Freeman is an internationally renowned Pianist and Multi-Keyboardist. As a Musical Director, Musician, Composer, Arranger, and Producer, he has worked with many of the world’s premier artists.

Ming's work as Yanni’s keyboardist, which began in August of 1994, led to his debut performance as a featured soloist in Yanni’s Band and Orchestra in their October 1994 concert in Mexico City. He's featured in his “Tribute” video filmed at the Taj Mahal in India and at the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. Ming is also featured in Yanni’s Latest DVD release “Yanni The Live Concert Event,” recorded and filmed at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Ming is from Asia originally. Born in Taiwan of Chinese Canadian descent, he came to the United States when he was seventeen years old. In his teens he appeared frequently on Chinese Television, performing with his brothers in a band called Mother Goose. The band was also headliner for many of the local concerts in Taiwan.

Ming truly is a really great guy. I have known him now since the '94 tour. I am very lucky that I live fairly close to him so I have had the opportunity to see him play in a number of venues with his own band. I have also met his son and wife. They are both delightful people, too.

His talents are endless. In one week, I saw him play Chinese music, blues and jazz.

His new album is really wonderful, too. I hope everyone will get a copy of it.

I'd love to meet Ming but he does respond to posts on Myspace.
