Alright here is what you'll need to do and thanks for the clarification
You need to click the "GO" tab at the top of the page here. On that menu, click "Personal Zone".
Once there, in the right hand corner of the screen is the option "View/Edit Complete Profile", click that.
Then scroll down and you'll see an area called "Public Profile Fields". There you will find an option called "Avatar/Picture URL", it's under your "Display Name". Next to that you'll see the option to "Edit", click it.
A new window will pop up. You have two choices:
1- you can use an avatar that is there:
-click on the picture you want, and then on the left-hand side right under the picture choose the option "Select This One". The window you were in will close, and you're back to editing your profile. Click at the bottom of the page, "Submit" and then you're all set.
OR
2-Custom Avatar-a picture of your choice that ISN'T shown on the new window. In order to have a custom avatar, you need to set-up an account at
www.photobucket.com first. If you don't have an account there simply go to that website and follow the instructions to become a member-it's free.
After setting up an account there, you simply upload the picture you want. Underneath the picture you'll see the "URL" tag. Copy the ENTIRE URL. In the window that came up when you clicked "Edit", select "Custom Avatar". Put the URL tag that you copied from photobucket in the space given and then click "Update Avatar".
When the window closes, click "Submit" and then you're all set. It may take a while for you to notice the change, but rest assured that it will appear.
