I am samin from Iran and I heard the last Yanni Live recently. I found some pieces so similar with persian musics ; I wanna know if he were in Iran or has any Iranian in his team?

Hi Samin and welcome to the Yanni Message Board.I'm glad you have been able to listen to Yanni Live.
I don't think Yanni has been to Iran and none of his orchestra come from there but Yanni is influenced by music from around the world so it's quite likely that would include Persian music too.
I hope you will continue to post here and get to know us all. There are other members from Iran here too.

i like yanni's mucsic soooooo much, also it is so different about our eastern music, that is in egypt and all arab,but his music is taking some of our eastern music and western music , as he used his eastern instruments that is in greek and the electrunic instruments as the electronic guitar that is found in west countries and i like this mix soooooooo much. and if he composed music with his greek instuments only i like it too. yanni i like ur music so much and i hope to learn it from u tiodore egypt

I must agree that with the wide range of musical instruments that Yanni utilizes in his pieces that a person will never get bored.
