By: Louise TirrellI went to the Bridgeport concert last nite with a couple of friends who had never been to any Yanni concerts, but had seen the PBS specials and wanted to come with me... the die-hard fan. Boy, were they glad they did! We all felt that the show was fantastic and spectacular in every way possible. I loved every minute of it from start to finish and so did they. I thought the "piano dance" was very entertaining, and for those of you who asked, the girls are barefoot, so there's no chance for scratches!
My friends are now totally hooked and are scrambling to get tickets to see another show.
I found that the Voices were even more impressive in person, than on TV and there is no way you can not be touched by the beauty of their songs. Each one has their own unique style and all of them are incomparable! I didn't want the night to end, it seemed to fly by so quickly...
We were lucky enough to meet the Voices afterwards, and found them all to be so personable, gracious and friendly. They are truly remarkable artists who you must go see!
We also ran into Ric Wake on the way out and he too was very friendly and approachable..a real "regular joe"...as my friend put it. Thank you Yanni, Ric and the Voices for making this an incredible night for all three of us! I am so looking forward to going to another show at Foxwoods on the 17th and I can not wait!!!
Still on cloud nine-
