BUT THEN.........CHICAGO GOT THEIR "STARS" THE VOLUNTEERS FROM THE MESSAGE BOARD WHO LIVE IN THE CHICAGO AREA ARE DOING THE PLEDGE DRIVE AT WTTW FOR DECEMBER 4 AND DECEMBER 13, 2008 !!!!
Just had an hour of heavenly bliss watching Yanni Voices on our PBS station at 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. It was a great pre concert treat. Of course the CD and DVD is offered for your contribution to the station. I always support our PBS. The Acupulco concert will be broadcast in March, and Yanni sure looks happy and content with his new friends.
Just got to see Yanni on our local PBS station. I must say, quite impressive! LOVE Nathans voice!!!I have from the start! They described him as a cross between Bocelli and Josh Groban! They ALL put on an impressive performance! And no piano dance! Just "blow you out of the water" voices! Very much enjoyed the PBS show!
Members of the YMB from Chicago, Wisconsin & New Jersey had alot of fun on 12/04. We volunteered to take pledge calls at WTTW 11 Chicago studios. They even fed us dinner.
The callers were very excited about ordering Yanni concert tickets, CD's & the Yanni Voices DVD. We were very busy.
We get to do it again on Dec 13th.
