I'm happy to report that the pressure in my eyes shows normal with the drops; that the doctor concurred that because they are a beta blocker, that they are helping my heart too; there was "no charge" for today, & I just continue using my drops, make an appointment to see if I need a new prescription, within 6 months from now, do the big perimeter test yearly. So, I feel good about these results, am happy, feel blessed.

Welcome back Sherry.Looks like you had a great time. I'm going to Costa Del Sol, Spain for a week on Feb 7th, with our friends who have a time-share, and looking forward to some warmer weather.

Glad your test produced a good result Linda. I have to have regular eye tests because my dad had glaucoma. During my last visit I was told there are signs of a cataract forming so I wasn't too pleased.

I hope ShrlEgrl is recovering well.

Anne, I have "baby" cataracts in both eyes, but the surgeon said that it would take at least 10 years before anything might have to be done. I hope that's the case for you too.

1st let me say a big THANK YOU 4 all ur prayers & kind words ... The surgery was successful but took longer than originally thought. My surgeon not only had to reattach the tendon to the bone, but also found tendinitis so he had to scrape the bone to widen the tendon opening ...the procedure took 1 hour & the recovery will take 4-6 months. It looks like i'll be temporarily down to one hand 4 typing

Linda, so glad to hear the your eye test went well My brother is a mobility instructor for the blind & through his experiences, I now have a tremendous appreciation for the value of eyesight.

The sun is out here this morning.. Clouds have gone East.. We got a good rain yesterday and now that may be it for a while? Everything looks nice and fresh this morning...It is so good to see the sun.

Hopefully the temperature will be near 70F but that's not warm enough for bathing outside for me.

Thanks Linda! I know it will take a long time for the cataract to become a problem. I have such poor vision in my right eye that having a cataract wouldn't make much difference to my vision. I just have a balance lens. Thankfully my left eye works quite well and I just pray it stays that way.
