Hi everyone,
The World Cup in football is keeping most of Britain glued to the television these days. Myky and Alice will understand what it's like. It's a major event in Europe and South America. Brazil and Italy have wonderful teams.
Just thought you might be interested to know that Greece has never managed to win a game in the tournament up to now but that changed today. They beat Nigeria 2:1.
I wonder if Yanni was watching.

Anne, sounds good the World Cup! We have been watching alot of it and also it was playing on the TV at our hotel in Dana Point.. Good for Greece!!! That is wonderful!

Had a busy day as one of my friends had a surgery the other day and I made dinner for them and took it over.. They are great friends and wanted to do something nice for them.. She is doing fine and hopefully back in the full swing of her activities soon..

Hope you all have a good evening and summer is almost here.. Getting close to our Anniversary and I sure remember last years! We will get to do it all again someday I just know it...

How hot is it where you Olives and Olivers are at...HOt HOT HOT...Mary got out in it a little too much this morning and got sick...she was doing so well and she loves to garden..but she found out today..that things are very different.

Thanks ya'll for all the compliments on our little gummy bear.. Hearing the heartbeat is a total rock out!..I missed all of that with the PP( I was living in the Colorado house undergoing treatment when she was in gestation.but I was at the delivery.. ...btw we are looking at a New Year's Eve arrival date...whoo Hoo!....

Oh Marilyn it is getting close to your Anniversary..whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..this time last year all we Olives could talk about was Las Vegas and Yanni..

I know Alice is beside herself with joy...I cannot wait to hear all about it...

Hope everyone is fine and enjoying yourselves and your loved ones. Just zooming by to check on you all. Days have been dark cloudy and with frequent rains. For most people, it's bad because of the traffic and rush hour in the city, but I think it was also much needed for the surrounding common green areas (at least in my residential unit). The grass and plants were terribly dried up. Like maestro Feliciano sings: "No Ha Dejado De Llover". I've been sleeping and waking up late, while I can before starting college again. Also, I've been trying to enter the YMB several times during these last two weeks, but something is happening and this message of "Website doesn't exists" keep appearing. Until today, I'm able to access again and greet you. Is this thing happened to any of you??

My admission exam results will be published on my college's website on next week's saturday. I want to ask you (especially Linda and the Niki Nana Prayer Train gang) to send me some of those good ol' vibrations. I am almost certain my name will be on the list because I did my best, but you never know. And, Linda, how did the root canal operation went?? You see, rainy days are the best for reflection and getting cozy on home along with George. Also to be "Yanning" around, ha ha ha. (another one for the Yannictionary).

Sherry, bunny olive, I'm so happy for you, the mommy and the little bundle of love!!! You gotta be jumping higher and higher of joy!! What a clear ultrasound image. I'm sure he/she is very healthy, and the heartbeat... Olivette on the way!!!

Myky, buona sera, amicca. Knowing you and the quality of your work, your painting exhibition will be or has been bellissima. Are you selling some of them or keeping them for a while?? You made me remember that classical piece called "Pictures At An Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky. Several years ago, when I was a little boy and took paint classes with professor Rafael, some of my carbon drawings and watercolour paintings applied to an exposition of a cultural center near my house (with a lot of help from him, of course). I was 11 years old and it was a very confussing matter for the board to consider some of my work. I remember doing some Still Life and Landscape paintings, those were my favorite themes. I'll try to give me some time to paint again. It would be awesome to see your work sometime.

Yes Sherry, what a year that was... It seems like only yesterday now that I look back.. We had such a great time and Yanni music to top it all off to a great year! Soon Yanni will venture out again to make some wonderful fans very happy just like he did all of us.. They will be so thrilled!

I agree, Sherry. We don't normally have them here in the UK. They drive me nuts too. One of our supermarkets got them especiaLly for the World Cup and sold 40,000 the first day.
