So, you think I have lost my marbles?

I got news for you! I found another one the other day. It was a real beauty, too. I have a special place for all my marbles so I don't loose them again. So, just for your information, I DO have SOME of my marbles.

Now, off to wonderland (Kalahari) for a week of dining out, playing in the imaginary ocean, shopping, and meeting up with old friends and making some new ones.*

Nice to see the YMB playground is still around in the neighborhood.

bunches of hugs

*ps....yes, I am rubbing it in to be camping out in a fancy hotel for a week. RazzerRazzerRazzer

Well, now....I dunno. How can I tell if they are your marbles or mine, or....someone else's?

I am baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

I feel like Dorothy. There is no place like home.

I spent too much, ate too much, and talked too much, but I learned a lot and made some new friends as well as seen some I hadn't seen in a while. It was sooooo great.

Oh, yeah....I bought some future plowshares, too. Wink

good to be back in the neighborhood

Really missed you my friend, it is not the same without you....I don't think you missed anything while you were gone. We haven't moved from here, but it is in the works.... I have a few marbles if you run short. They are the antique kind, swirly blue, red, and white.....

oh, those are the best kind!

Yeah, this place was once the best playground. Now the teeters are rusted without a totter, the swings creek, and the marry-go-round tilts and lilts lopsided.

Maybe we can revive it with some fresh paint, some nutty adventures and...oh...

Oh, well.

I won't be leaving until they shut the doors, bolt them, turn out all the lights, and bar the windows.

hugs

Hi Gerry, good to see your post. Hermie says she is losing her marbles. I offered her some old ones if she really needs some. Think I have lost a few myself. We are still here and kicking.....stick around.

Greetings, Birdie!!
Great to hear from you, too!! You mean marbles, like the ones we used to play when we were children, or marbles like the ones you find in cristaline and clear ponds of water, or marbles like those in the ceiling that when you accidentaly step on them you fall and it's not a pretty sight (har har har), or marbles like those you have in the brain!!! Because I need some, too. I'm forgetting my English vocabulary, talking with you, my friends, prevents that from happening, absloutely. I'll stick around some more. How are you, by the way??
Take care, all of you. Be well.

Hi Gerry! Yep, you got a good grasp on what marbles are all about. I gave up trying to have the prettiest, or the biggest marble on the block, but I still got a few left to play with.

This week is the beginning of a new place for my marbles....in a box. I am packing for another cross-country move. Hopefully, it is the last one, but who knows with me.

After I get settled down south, I can play with my grandsons and teach them all about "marbles" (hee hee....wicked laugh....you know that it is a granny's responsibility to spoil 'em and then send 'em home)

Say...I think the YMB could use a dartboard or foozball machine.

thwack! thwack! thwack! (one bull's eye, one hit the wire and bounced off, and the other stuck in the sheetrock)

hugs

Way to go Hermie, pack up and go.....be sure to let us know your new address way down south.
I don't see any great grand babies in the future, so I have to be content with dolls. Glad you can get close to your kids.
