Something unexpected & happy to report for me:

I had asked my neighbor to find someone to mow/clear my lot; & before she even had a chance to get the info for me, someone, yesterday mowed my lot without saying anything, or asking for any payment. She thinks that the president of our association may have done it, as he took his riding mower & mowed the common areas around the same timeframe yesterday. She went past my lot to work, & it was a foot high with weeds. When she returned home, it was an inch high & looking great. The president doesn't even know I'm going out there in a little over 3 weeks, so this was a blessing to me. It's so nice to know that there are truly nice people in this world who will do something kind on their own accord. This makes me even happier today than I already was.

I'm happy because getting to see this again is getting much closer with every passing day:

Just plain happy!!!!!!

I just wanted everyone to know that I am very happy today, and want to share the happiness. I have been released by my surgeon to "carry on" as normal, Jon, my grandson in the Army was home for the weekend for granny's strawberry pie, and I am all packed up for a Doll Convention in Dallas next week. Gosh, can't sqeeze anymore happiness here. See you all in a week or so.

Well, I'm happy today also, as David Templeton wrote to me after sending him the poem, "Believe"; & he acted upon it, trying to take the next step furthering his career.

It's so wonderful when I'm led by my Creator to help someone else. This in no way is out of ego. I wrote that poem so quickly, with so much urgency; knowing that timing was everything, & got the positive response from David. I'm so happy to be a small vessel for him, as well as others in my life.

There are 2 very nice older ladies that work in the same office that I work in and they are both Greek. I love listening to them talk. I will have to ask them to teach me a few words. They used to live in Greece.

Mia, congrats on the well deserved promotion. You have the right attitude, girl; & I'm sure you will do very well. I'm happy for you.
