I'm happy because my Dad is celebrating his 84th birthday and I get to eat cake (tee hee)

We must be blessed... the guy that hooked up our home theater system back in July FINALLY came back and finished the job... one day before the DVD arrived. Someone is looking out for me or something.

Big Update:

I will be ordering our home next week, by the 15th, before the prices go up; so am beginning the process right now, as I type this. It's beginning to feel very real, as I will actually be sending out paperwork & earnest money, so that makes it a done deal. George is also going along with the whole thing without one complaint whatsoever. Wow! Was I jumping up & down at work today, or what, after talking to the bank lady & the sales gal I'm working with. I'm so excited! Won't be long now.......
6 months 3 weeks, & we will be on our way.

Don't forget the truck! George has no idea how he is going to travel. Will start stocking up on the bungie chords right now and send them on their way shortly! How about the water bottles for him? I suppose he still will want rest stops now and then...geesh what men want these days....tee hee.

Well, since the initial pre-approval for our home loan had to go back, as the bank made a mistake in comprehension, I didn't want to get too overly excited....but....I just got the "Congratulations" final letter, saying that everything is now pre-approved, so let the celebration begin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~



Woot woot, a Roadrunner truly is jumping up & down for joy...but since I didn't have a jumping roadrunner, this will do....

It's a very happy but, sentimental day for us today. Our oldest child Amanda graduated today. Where did the time go???? We are so very proud of her!!! Congratulations Amanda! We love you!!
