My oldest daughter is officially getting engaged Friday night. I can't believe guys still do this, but Kim's father said Justin came over and asked permission to marry Kim and showed him the ring, and he is planning this party Friday night. The poor thing lost her job 2 weeks ago...she got laid off. When they found out, her former job in Seattle flew her out for 3 weeks to help with their audit. She just came back. I am so happy for her. They have had the date of 10/10/10 set, but she has no idea it is gonna really happen and actually get a ring. One down, two more daughters to go

Shirley, that's wonderful news, & so romantic that her boyfriend has planned the party so nicely. I'm sure you will be a proud mom, as she walks down the aisle. Congratulations.

Thanks Linda. She enjoyed going back, but she is glad to be back with Justin. We make off-road motorcycles at my job...why I am also only working 2 or 3 days a week...people aren't buying "toys" now days. Anyway, one of our dealers is in Port Angeles. Last August, when we drove Kim back, I so wished we could have spent more time. It is so beautiful out there. We are going to get snow showers already in New England this coming week. I am SO not ready for it. BTW, congrats to George...the bath looks great!
