Yes, I remember when I first heard Yanni's song. I knew that he was the man who is able to explain the feeling of the music that connects us all, human beings in one. It is a feeling about the norms of behavior, ideals, love, passion, all that Yanni was explain with his music. He was a hero to me, a man who tried to discover the secret language of life. Now, I'm not sure who is Yann. His behavior confuses me and questioned my understanding of the secret language that he has discovered for me. I'm not sure that Yanni is spreading the message of "secret language" anymore, he shuld know that the human voice carries too subjective in itself and will never be able to present the "secret language" and clean feeling of idealism. His explanation that the human voice opens up new horizons would be in line for a pop musicians, but not for the man who for years creating the most vulnerableg feelings using only instruments, the clearest form and harmony is now destroyed.

Hi Marko, I really like the way you explained your point about the "secret language." I love it when people interpret music in that respect. For me, the "secret language" is just as present and clean feeling from the human voice as it is from an instrument, so I guess it can depend on the listener.

Here's an example. I love all kinds of music but only certain songs grab me. I know when a song grabs me because I somehow know the melody immediately and it repeats in my mind over and over without my permission. It's almost like I "need" that song. And sometimes in the extreme, it's like I've known the song all along, before it was even written. This happens for me with both instrumentals and songs with lyrics. It sometimes doesn't even matter what the lyrics say. I can crave the voice part of a song, and sing it, and need it, and memorize it, and get the secret language from it without even knowing what the words are yet lol. Music is a fascinating thing, isn't it.
