Hi Helenthedreamer!! Boy, you're good at nicknames,I loved yours, unfortunately I'm not good at it... so I'm just Alice, I'm from Brazil and it's nice to meet you!! I love your post, I love what you said about Yanni's way of playing and his presence in the scene and I totally agree with you it's pure magic!! I remember when I first saw the 'Yanni Live at the Acropolis 'DVD and I thought how perfect it was... the music , the scenery, and of course Yanni looked great all in white!! I have to agree with Patricia too...I always thought of Yanni as the gorgeuos Greek!!
But you're all right.. "the beautiful mister with the long hair who always smiles"....(so cute) "the beautiful man with the long hair"...(so true) and of course he's very very talented I guess we all agree on that!! all those words can describe him perfectly!!
I hope you get to see him live in Greece, I know what a big dream that is, I'm hoping to get to see him here in Brazil too!!

Hey Alice, thanks for posting here hun, yeah believe me i know how talend yanni can be and he really is more that we can ever imagine, never had the change to watch it *runs to buy the dvd one* He is the most famous greek all around the world for me , and the most lovable too.. I love him to bits He helped me relax through the hard times! I lost my mother in june, so it was very helpful learning and reading that yanni doing so well still. i cant wait for the new cd! All anybody can do is their very best, a "good shot" works for me.
It is not about winning or losing: it is about how you play the game. This is an old saying, and I have no idea who the original author of it was. LOL!
