I wanted to drop into this string, if I may, and offer a note of support to the new international street team members.

It was my honor to be invited into membership with the original team; it was a labor of love, a bonding, and wonderful experience that i will always remember! I'm hoping you will find this new experience to be the same for you.

My best wishes all the members on the new international team, and my utmost love and respect to those who lead, and those who shared, the original street team journey with me.

I believe our questions are actually different, dear Navi, but the importance of honest and effective communication is definitely at the heart of both.

Di, thank you for bringing this thread back to the forefront.

The original Street Team seems to have been scattered and left many is a state of dismay. We had a grrreat team and accomplished many wonderful things, a true success by my measurements. We alll put a lot of time and energy into promoting the upcoming launch of the new website, only to find ourselves lost in the shuffle...perhaps understandibly in all the commotion, but sadly none-the-less.

In general, I haven't had the online time that many other team members did, so I made my contributions to the team by word of mouth, one to one with many of my customers. For on the road, I did up the window of the hotrod to advertise Yanni.com and the International Street Team. Maybe to some it wasn't much but it was the best I could do and loved doing it. It appears under the new guidelines, offline efforts will not qualify to be considered an active member of the team....and that makes me sad. We really had something special and I don't know where it went....and it seems to have left us all wondering the same thing. One day we get a handwritten note of thanks, the next day we're bumped as if we're in the way? Like all of you, I'm dismayed and wondering what the heck happened.

PattyB, Lifeinthekeyofd, LadyG, and Hela, I hope you all get your answers.

I've continued to do my promoting via word of mouth, emails and street time for the hotrod. Today the hotrod hit the road for a trip across the river. By the time I arrived back home, YANNI.COM had been on the road for two solid hours...in lots of traffic I might add. In two weeks, YANNI.COM will be making an appearance at Busch Gardens (in the parking lot of course). I have season tickets this year and plan to go early for stratigically planned exposure.

I have no idea where that puts my team status but I know I've brought several to the website, which in the end is the desired result isn't it?
