Hello all
I read once in Yanni’s book that he heard someone saying after he signed his first contract for his early albums. He heard him saying that the manger said “we found the new Vangelis”
I knew Vangelis for his wonderful music such as “conquest of paradise, Chariot of fire and Spiral…etc”. But what I did not know at all is that he is from Greece.
What a coincidence that these two geniuses are from the same country, not only that. They also refused to take piano lessons and they were not able to read musical notation.
I am really surprised that they never had the chance to work with each others. Just imagine what kind of music you all would be listening to if these two minds were put together.
