That was very well done. I read the note you had with the video and I hope you can get the piano you want soon. I do read music and would give anything to have the ability to play without music as you have done. You are very talented - keep with it!
I hope one day you get the piano you want...it seems a shame for such talent not to have one.
"Writing books is quite the adventure. First, it is a daydream, an entertainment of our imagination. Then it transforms into an idea which grows until it consumes us like a nightmare. We can either shiver with fear of the imaginary monster growing in our head, or slay the dragon with the sword of publishing."
Thanks for sharing!! I love "To Take, To Hold"! You have a great talent and I too hope you get the piano you want soon!!
Love and Hugs, Alice
Yanni:" If all of our souls can come together in our music, then they can come together anywhere, and as a race we can always achieve harmony and peace in our music"
ajm786, your rendition of Yanni's "To Take, To Hold" is pure pleasure. TTTH is one of my all-time favorites pieces. I wonder about the title and why "To Have" was not included - there is a bit of sadness to this song and yet it's not the kind of sadness that produces yearning or grief but one of gratitude and acceptance. How does Yanni do that with his creations? There's a "dichotomoy" to his music I would say. I appreciate the music in YOUR soul, ajm786 - bless you for blessing us!
