Yesterday during soundcheck there was a technical problem with Yanni's beautiful piano. He knew exactly what it would take to fix it, so we ended soundcheck a little early to give the engineers plenty of time to make sure it was working perfectly again.

Since the concert took place in an ice rink, the temperature in the arena was still coming up to something above FREEZING during soundcheck. Our teeth were chattering, and Yanni said it was hard to play with such cold fingers! Maybe that's why soundcheck really ended early...?
