On the sides and behind the stage, just before and during concerts, this equipment has to be spread out. There are miles of thick cables that have to be taped to the floor, and when these cables cross a walkway they have to be covered really well. Still, when the lights are down during concerts, everyone has to be very careful not to trip or run into the equipment.
