Since the venue in Albany is not using Ticketmaster anymore, I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with picking up their tickets on concert night. I just don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this, since I called the venue and they said that the tickets for the presale will not arrive until the day of the concert. Hoping that there will not be a problem, but you know that guy Murphy.
Have any of you ever had a problem using this system?
"Each day comes bearing gifts. Untie the ribbons."
Will call is almost always the best route to go and especially for pre-sales. I wish Yanni management would make it the rule rather than the exception.
I have picked up tickets at will call nearly every concert I've attended for Yanni or anyone else. I have never had a single problem with it. The only problem I'm aware of was one in which someone was going to have them mailed and then changed their mind. The issue was taken care of immediately and the tickets were reissued.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Make sure you have the card that you used to purchase the tickets and your order confirmation with you when you go and you should be fine.
Hi Crissy, Just sharing here that I was the person Bonnie was referring to and because we were leaving the UK quite a while before the concert I realised that the tickets would not arrive before I left so I asked to change to will call. There was a problem but it was soon sorted and given the choice, I'm with Bonnie, I would go for will call every time. I think it is the most convenient way to get your tickets.
LOL Gee thanks Crissy. I've never done the will call thing -- have always relied on Canada Post to deliver my tickets safely. Having said that I know is going to open a flood gate of HAHAs from Bonnie & Anne.
