If anyone here is planning on attending the concert in N. Charleston, SC could you e-mail me? They have finally put up dates for GP tickets (I didn't join new fan club) and I'm wanting to ask questions about seating in that arena. I even called the arena this past Friday trying to find out info, but of course I got machines and none directed me to where I needed to go. I had e-mailed them previously and I'm still waiting for a reply. Isn't that just the way anymore. Thanks for any help. Sara/SC

I,m going to the concert in N Charleston. I didn,t buy tickets during the presale because I did,nt like the seats offered. They were off to the side so I am going to Publix at exactly 10:00AM Saturday which is when they go on sale to the public. You can go to the N charleston Coliseum web site and they have the layout of the seating arangement. The Publix grocery stores also have the seating arangement.

rhpetit, thanks so much for your reply. I didn't join the new fan club so I'll have to rely on General Public ticket sales. I stopped by our Publix earlier in the week since there was still no date/time posted for sales to N. Charleston. They checked with Ticketmaster and were finding the same info that I did. That newsletter did come though announcing the sales date. I guess I'll just get online and try through Ticketmaster. The lady that's suppose to come with me is saying she can't pay more than $50 for a ticket so that lets out any floor seats. I don't want to sit way in the back on the floor anyway. I'd sort of like side seats but not very high up. I doubt I'll be able to get tickets there for $50 either. There is no one else to come with me and I don't want to go alone. I did that for Atlanta on the last tour and I was scared even though everything worked out well. I had a good time and met lots of nice people at the Meet and Greet before the concert. I just don't want to do it alone again though. So, I'll be up early and see what I can get. Good luck to you with getting good seats.

Good morning Sara. I just saw your post. Good luck on tickets. I was extremely lucky but I also paid the price. My daughter and I are center sec 51 (according to venues map)got from North Charleston Coliseum website, Row G, seats 7 &8. But I had to join fan club and order them AT 10AM the second they went on sale. 95 dollars each. It had stated 25. to 95. were the prices. Obviously I got the best available.
I am going to Raleigh too and got the floor 1 front left side row G seat 9. Another 95. dollars. Going to that one by myself. I will see charleston sunday and see raleigh the following friday. Waiting for 5 years I had to do more than one concert. I would have done Greenville SC but in these economical times another 95. wasn't a good idea, plus gas.
Good luck and let me know your seats maybe we can meet.
Terry

I have seats in section 109R row DD 3 and 4. They are off to the side but close to the stage. They are in the same place I had them the first time he came to Charleston years ago.I just can't remember if its the side he has his back to us.

Hi all,

I want to tell you a secret about tickets.

I know it's not as much fun when you sit by yourself as opposed to sitting with your friend but, I've discovered that when you buy single tickets, you can usually get excellent seats whether in the presale or the public sale.

The first time I attended a Yanni concert I went with the public sale. I was second in line. The guy in front of me was buying a group of tickets, I was buying 1. I was around 10 rows in front of him and dead center, he was further back and off to the side.

If you are having trouble getting the group of tickets you want, where you want, buy singles. It's a concert, you shouldn't be chatting anywaySmiler

I've had the same experience buying a single ticket. A few years ago, I was unaware David Lanz was performing here until a couple days before the show and so had no time to coordinate going with a friend. At the last minute, I decided to get in the car and go to the show alone. I bought the ticket 1 hour before show-time and got 3rd row center in packed house. It was wonderful!

You are right, Crackedegg! It's definitely the way to go if you don't mind sitting alone! Besides, invariably you end up meeting people around you anyway so it's not bad! I would do it again. Smiler

The funniest story about a concert I attended where I thought I'd be sitting "alone" was a Yanni show in Mashantucket, CT. I'd spent a lot of time chatting with one particular woman on the WAY OLD Yanni Message board when Celine ran it. I live in Wisconsin. This woman lives in Indiana. Both of us decided to fly out to Connecticut for this particular show and eventually meet up for dinner and bumming around. We each bought our plane tickets AND our concert tickets SEPERATELY. Wouldn't you know we both wound up on the same connecting flight and even more strange, we wound up sitting NEXT TO each other at the concert! That venue wasn't small. What are the chances??? A million to 1? We laughed about it for a long time! Neither of us could believe it worked out that way!

Hi Sara: Donna and I went to Publix Saturday when the tickets went on sale to the public we didn't join the voices club either. Publix had us tickets within a few minutes and guess what they were only 2 rows back from the last concert we attended in Duluth so we were very happy and we only had a 10.00 price increase since the last time we are still right in front on the floor. Publix said there hasn't been very many tickets bought for the concert and alot of the good tickets are still available so go to Publix and they can pull all the info up for you on seating and pricing and you pick out what you want then you sign for you tickets and they hand them to you and your set. Hope this helps sure wish you were coming with us to Ga. again but it's closer for you in SC. Karla

Guess I'm in a pickle again. The lady that was coming with me won't be going as she just couldn't pay more than $50 a ticket. No tickets sell for $50 period. Best we could do was $57 and that was high up 210 section on the side. With my fear of heights, I just can't do that plus I don't want to sit that high up period. I can find a good seat buying just one ticket. We could have gotten 2 seats in the 112 side section yesterday morning and still could when I checked a few minutes ago for $76. Oh well, I guess I'll not be going this time. Carla, I checked Atlanta just for the heck of it and I could get 1 seat front row for $125. Ha, imagine that. Oh well, what will be will be.
Good week to you all. Sara/SC
