Assume that you are alone in a boat in the middle of the sea, the sun has just risen. It started to give you worm and the feeling of being optimistic that a good day is ahead of you.

Which song would you choose and think it is the best for this moment.

My sunrise song, every day no matter where I am is "Adagio..." (original instrumental version). How perfect, calming & comforting it would be in a boat alone in the sea.

That is a tough one to answer... I would probably say that "Sacred Ground" really moves me...

Since the 4 previous board members have 'nominated' the best wake-up selections in the Yanni playbook, how about I just rank my favorites according to the given suggestions?

I would put "In the Morning Light" on the CD first, followed by "After the Sunrise" as I open my eyes, stretch, and put one foot out from under the covers. Then "Adagio" to get me moving, winding up with "On Sacred Ground" as I sit and ponder and plan out my day. "Flight of Fantasy" would be the perfect accompaniment to face washing and teeth brushing. Wait---could I still do that in a small boat in the middle of the sea? Hey, it's my fantasy, I guess I could do whatever I want!

Your choices are perfect!!! Believe it or not, I was going to choose after the sun rise, and for me Flight of Fantasy is one of the most loved songs for me, I have it in my car and my phone.

I read your post and wasn't going to answer because it was hard for me to choose which song, but then I had a dream. So, now I'm answering.

In the dream this angel asked me which song I wanted to hear (like your post). And, as usual I couldn't figure out the name (not good with names, lol), so I hummed a little of the song. Then, he said, 'It's Nostalgia' and he went and played it on his piano.

I have to say, that your thread, the dream, and Yanni's song inspired me and, "Thanks".
