Yanni's Instrumental music is a beautiful and unique world of sounds and emotions that opens the doors of imagination and speaks directly to our heart and souls.
It is music that can inspire people..a pure language unlimited by words or stories, a direct communication between the composer and the listener.
It's Poetry.
It's pure Beauty that doesn't need logic to express itself. It's pure Beauty that doesn't have to be similar to something else to be loved.
It's unique and precious: a combination of different sounds,different rhythms,instruments,colors and different kinds of music,World music,Classical , Rock , Jazz and Pop (but not mainstream Pop).
It has its unique style. It's an uncommon beauty , not influenced by trends or lost in the "land" of ordinary Pop. It is special , as the uniqueness of its melodies.

Every album and composition expresses a diversity of sounds and emotions : "Optimystique" can still surprise the listener with its rhythms and captivating melodies; the intensity of "In My Time" has the power to communicate sweetness and peace; the symphonic beauty of "Live at the Acropolis" is like an amazing journey of emotions;"Ethnicity" mesmerizes the listener with its multicultural rhythms; the romantic armonies of "Reflections of passion" remind the beauty of classical music ; and then , the mysterious "Looking Glass", the interesting musical vocabulary of "Forbidden Dreams", the energy of "Paths on water".... and many many other albums and compositions that can communicate emotions and describe feelings without using words. Sounds and compositions chiselled as beautiful sculptures..sounds and nuances as colors on a canvas...Every color is precious.Every composition speaks.
Yanni's Instrumental music is like Painting: an intense and direct language. A language that can communicate without words and their limits, a language that can inspire and unite people from different countries and different cultures.
It's a wonderful and unique communication that is able to express a great musical creativity, a wonderful communication that (as Yanni said ) bypasses logic and speaks to our souls.

I want to add that I am crazy about Yanni's instrumentals. I think it is the most gorgeous music ever--so relaxing and romantic. I think his singers have very gifted voices, but the instrumentals are my favorites by far.

I guess when you get right down to it, all of Yanni's music comes from a very gifted mind, one that has is the best around. I am glad that I have had the opportunity to experience that wonderful gift in person twice. I am looking forward to the next time.

Hello Yanni, we are a lot of your Latin American fans. You know we love you a lot!!! For this reason, we want you to know what we´re feeling about your new work: we really don´t like it. And we can´t understand why you are spoiling long years of a brilliant career, all those beautiful songs with those singers... We want more instrumental music from you!!!!! And nobody else. We are sure you are for more than producing pop artists!!!!!!! The next four Cds... We wouldn´t buy them. We want a Cd from you, and only from you!!!! And a new concert. It´s a very commercial thing, don´t you think? Please, open your eyes!!!
Of course, we hope you mind all our opinion, not only the american people opinion. We don´t want to offend you, because we love you with all our hearts, and for this reason we write this letter. Thank you for sharing your opinion on Yanni's Message Board.

This Message Board is very much an international site for an international artist. Yanni values everyone's opinion. However, just because he values someone's opinion does not mean he will change for them. That has never been Yanni's way and it is the reason we have all come to love him. If he had changed years ago based on opinions, we would never have had many of the incredible pieces we so value.

Yanni did tell us that he is creating new instrumental music. Perhaps he's decided to hold onto it and only release it when he tours. Hold on and believe that Yanni values his fans...all of them equally. This new direction is sure to hold something for everyone.

It is really wonderful to hear all these opinions from different parts of the World. I do think it is very hard to hear different versions of Yanni's music and we know that Yanni won't let us down. We are hoping to hear some of our Maestro's greatest gifts to surprise us again!

Yes, Yanni's instrumental music is beautiful and if I get to go to 1 of his concerts on this tour, I will definitely love to hear him play a few. I do really like what I've heard so far from his Voices direction, and I really believe that Yanni is simply just reaching out across those borders that he talks about. In turn, they will get the chance to listen to his lovely instrumentals.
