Yanni's albums each seem to have a different effect on me. Some of his music I use to love listening to while working out at the gym, while some were great to clean house while listening. But, one album seems to bring me "home" to peace, adventure and a sense of healing of my thoughts.

Each time I listen to, If I Could Tell You, I can see the highways in front of me calling my name. I remember the Indian Nation Turnpike in Oklahoma with gentle green hills with spots of misty fog lingering in the early morning light. I can feel the freedom each time I listen to this album. It takes me "home" to peace, calm and a sense of adventure called, "Resolve."

This album was released during my first year in college. and it was winter time, that is why when ever I listen to a song such as " walking in the rain" it always bring memory of me and friends hanging out under the rain

Most of his songs give me that feeling, but as far as discs, for me it would be If I Could Tell You too. The feeling of being home however is not for me about a physical place, but more about the feeling of being known and knowing in return.

hi herema..the most beautiful song isif i could tell you....i remember that i was in latakia..at my homeland syria...when i heard it for the first time..with my family so i kept telling my father to play it back over and over again...it is so lovely..and as you said it brings peace and adventure. now i have it as a ringing tone on my mobile..it brings me back to all the beautiful memories...all the songs of yanni are beautiful but this particular song has a special meaning in my heart .
