This is about how Yanni got introduced to me...back in 96... i was in a music store looking for a music to buy for the first time. i told the shopkeeper that i want a music without any vocals..then he suggested me to buy out of silence and it was the only yanni album on the shelf
When i took it home and tried it out in my music box...i was expecting it to be like a movie soundtrack with lots of drama and suspense...imagine when i heard it for the first time ...i thought this is very different and something i am not used to. the music was bouncing, going here and there.
when i heard standing in motion it made me think of a cop chasing someone in the night..I love Secret Vows...i saw forest trees glowing in the orange evening sun. Street level is excellent i thought this track is best of this album musically...later on everytime i come home from school i used to dance to these music
What fun about this story is i didn't know Yanni or any of his other works...the first reaction i got from this album starting with sand dance. This is an album dedicated to greece and home town Kalamata and the drums by charlie adams. It was raining outside when i tried for the first time.
every fan must have got introduced to yanni through some album it could have been "In my time or a live video"....but for me it was "Out of silence" and it was also a part of growing up from boyish days...to wacky teenager in my life.
Thats great we are on the same side...this one is based purely on Yanni's personal emotion...it will make one feel restless till it drives one too do something creative or atleast set one in motion...it also produced hits like within attraction, the mermaid and acroyali
