If I could tell you is one of my favorite Yanni songs. The live version is very good, and Ive said it tons of times, the album is a masterpiece.

I really like the newer version of If I Could Tell You on the Yanni Live CD.
It is one of those songs that wrap around you and pull you into a sweet seduction of romance.
It is soothing, relaxing, and gentle.
I also feel it holds much mystery, and a touch of saddness.
Yanni said that he basically speaks through his music. I wonder what he would tell, If I Could Tell You?

Although I liked the original version of IICTY, I am absolutely in love with the newer version, more than before; in fact, I deliberately played it first this morning, right after "Adagio in C Minor", which always comes first for me. IICTY now makes me almost cry, as it is so beautiful, & yes, it totally tugs at the heart. Beautiful.

Only because I happen to know the answer...the lady in the "Reflections of Passion" video is an actress.

Music is such a beautiful language.

This is one of my favorties so far. I think he is saying "If I could tell you, this is what I would say" and he says it in the song. But you don't know what he is saying because it comes from him. But the song makes you say what YOU want to say, if you could tell someone. I like that twist.
