Some of Yanni's previous CD show they could use a proper re-master, I am wondering if there are any plans in the near future to remaster some of his old CD's?

I am also curious to know if Yanni owns his old catalog (ex-Private Music)?

Yes, I agree. It would also be awesome if they were released on Hybrid SACDs witha 5.1 surround mix. What a slice of heaven that would be!

As far as we know there are no plans for remastering because the ownership is complicated.

Yanni owns the copyrights and publishing rights to his music.

The record labels retain the distribution rights. That means they call the shots as far as re-mastering and re-distribution. As far as Yanni Management is aware there are no such plans.

I'm glad you got the DVD. The regular release for Belgium is next week so if you know others hoping to buy it they should be more widely available next Friday.
