There is a complete list of PBS stations airing "Yanni Voices" on www.yanni.com (Events, PBS Station List). Some of these listings might be in HD and D. Please check with your local station guide. Times can change.
I think it's really shameful that management has not provided information for the fans that is now proven to be available in the public domain.
The yanni.com home pgae says 'PBS will be announced soon '
Obviously, this 'official' information is grossly incorrect. It has already been announced on PBS .
This is a new low for the current management team, because never before in it's history has Yanni Management failed to provide proper intimation to such events.
I don't mean to offend anybody here. Just stating what is obvious to more than a few people.
I'm new around here, so I can't claim to know the history you're referring to, Alias, but surely you're overreacting. It's not like any of these programs have aired is it? I'm sure the home page will be updated soon. Perhaps they're waiting until the schedule is set nationwide?
We are referring to a special that Yanni did for PBS in San Diego recently and it will air on PBS is different cities.. Call your local PBS and see if your city is showing the special.. It is not the Main Concert...It is introducing his new Voices and some background information... No Tour schedule has been announced yet, just the Acapulco Concerts next week...
"Look at the sunset. If it pleases you, you're a happy man." - Yanni Marilyn Love Is All
Hi alias, I understand your impatience and frustration but I'm sure management are very busy concentrating on the fine details for Acapulco so that everything will go smoothly. Hopefully it won't be too long before we have the full schedule for the PBS airings, and also the tour schedule which everyone is waiting for.
Hi Cindy! I emailed my local PBS station in Rochester,NY the other day.. They emailed me back with this:

All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.- Author unknown
While I realize Anne has given you responses, I would like to take it a step further and explain how the PBS process works.
But first let me say thank you to Cyndi for starting this string!
Now, here's how the PBS program schedules progress.
Every time there has been a new PBS airing, fans have started a list like this on the board. That is because we seldom get an 'official' schedule until it's often too late for many fans. Every PBS station schedules it's own programming and many will not air the program, some will air it only once, some will air it many times, etc. PBS stations vary their scheduling times from 2 - 6 weeks before the air dates so many won't even schedule for the December pledge for a few more weeks. As a result of all of this, the information comes into the main PBS programming group piecemeal. Typically what Yanni management has gotten are small lists that gradually grow in size over a period of time.
Our administrators have tried in the past to share this information. It's a lot of work to keep up with and at the present time, we really don't have a dedicated administrator available. YManRep is very busy and is only able to make basic announcements.
So, what Cyndi is doing is very helpful for all of us right now. When the Mexico shows are ended, we may get as much of a schedule as management has but that's only if they have one. Even if we get one, it may not show YOUR station on it because of the way PBS works. So fans should always check with their local PBS station for information and they should ask them to air Yanni Voices if they don't have it on their schedule.
